O'Doherty's satire takes courage

How wonderful that Ian O'Doherty ('Sterilising junkies may seem harsh', February 18) has reinvigorated the grand Irish tradition of satire, and with such admirable courage, too. Even Jonathan Swift was never so daring, only suggesting that the children of the poor should be eaten.
