O'Doherty on that march
Sir - Ian O'Doherty's assertion that Friday's national day of protest was pointless as the "world has moved on" leaves me saddened and angry.
Ian O'Doherty was miffed by the frank display of "greed, laziness and extreme socialism" last Friday on the streets of Dublin (and other towns and cities I might add!).
He should level the charge of greed not at the feet of those protesting but at the feet of those for whom profits are far more important than service delivery or people's livelihoods (profits from which the economy will not benefit as the company will no longer be Irish, no more than its staff will).
