Noun wanted

• Has anybody come up with a collective noun for disgraced politicians?

I think we should be entitled to borrow one or two from the animal kingdom. Almost anything apart from a 'parliament' (of owls) should suffice.

In the meantime, I believe any or all of the following would be appropriate:

A shrewdness (of apes)

A rabble (of butterflies)

A nuisance (of cats)

A storyteller (of rooks)

An implausibility (of gnus)

A deceit (of lapwings)

A mischief (of mice)

A den (of snakes)

Of course, in Cavan it could be a 'lock' and in Dublin a 'gansey-load' or a 'moxy.' If the aforementioned gentlemen were being discussed by our exiles in Camden Town or Kilburn, it would be a 'rake'.
