No need to say sorry, Mr Kenny
• Having often criticised Enda Kenny, I feel it correct to defend him now. Another group from Northern Ireland wants him to apologise for the Republic's inaction during the so-called Troubles. My sympathy is with the victims of the many atrocities perpetrated against them in the name of Irish freedom.
However, the Dublin Government cannot be accused of facilitating the IRA or its offshoots back then.
The court system was changed to ensure the scourge of terror was dealt with by judges, not juries, by setting up the Special Criminal Court.
