New regime but same old junkets

The first steps at political reform by the new Government are decidedly lacklustre. Fifteen Ministers of State appointed when an election promise was for a cut to 12. Derisory pay cuts for ministers. If this new Government had the slightest bit of sense and decency, they'd cancel all travelling on St Patrick's Day except for the Taoiseach's White House visit.

The country is in a shambles and the first item on the agenda is free holidays for TDs at the taxpayer's expense.

Is a minibus to The Aras to collect the seals of office the full extent of reform!
