Mr Kenny, the majority understand your 'jargon' all too well

They kept him under wraps for the length of this dying Dáil, but alas they cannot be with him all the time. How dare Enda Kenny use the term "economic jargon which the vast majority of people don't understand". I wonder which 'handler' scripted that one for him.

So, Mr Kenny, let this person from the "majority" refresh you. I have a crystal clear understanding of "economic jargon". We suffer under it on a daily basis. A debt mountain to be cleared - bank and developers' debt, by the way - and 500,000 of our youth gone.

"If it moves, tax it" was the Minister of Finance's mantra. USC and the pension levy were among a raft of despicable, cowardly interventions. Bondholders paid while our sick were piled high on trolleys in hospital corridors. Timothy Geithner and the US banks paid in full while native Irish were evicted from their homes.
