Marriage taboo

• There are now no parties in the Oireachtas favouring the traditional understanding of marriage. What on earth is going on? I just don't get it.

In rough figures, I believe fewer than 1 in 500 of the population would ever contemplate entering into a homosexual 'marriage'.

It seems to me that it is heterosexuals and not homosexuals who are clammering to introduce what they call 'gay marriage'.

I ask, what unseen force is thus urgently driving the Oireachtas in this blind headlong rush?
