Making ends meet . . . Blasphemy laws. . . Sex workers
Many of my friends and I received our first payslip last Thursday and were devastated. Never in our wildest imaginings did we realise how our take-home pay was going to be affected.
People are in tears, with real fears of how to feed their families. Many middle-income families I know who would always have "managed" are terrified. Lower-income friends are in a state of fear.
The knock-on effect of this first of four planned budgets is going to be horrendous. With three more to go, God help us all.
