Magic pills

Today I went into a chemist to purchase some flu pills. I was told this everyday pill is restricted. I told the Gestapo-trained pharmacist that I wasn't after morphine, just a little painkiller, which is on sale at half the price in every chemist in the UK.

I was just about to tell her to have a nice day when she took it from under the counter, and the drug deal was done.

I felt as if I was a suspected addict, and had just scored down a laneway.
