Little justice in failed bosses keeping generous pensions
I RETIRED from the prison service in 2007 with a modest pension.
The modesty reflected what the State thought my worth was. In earning that pension I was spat at, attacked with a syringe, had boiling water laced with sugar thrown at my face, hit with a bowl and punched on the head whilst performing my duty.
I assumed that my modest pension was sacrosanct.
