Let's not advertise how vulnerable we are to terror attack
I do wonder if as a nation we suffer from an acute Napoleon complex. Do we feel a collective need to show the world just how important we are? Is it that we feel left out because we haven't suffered an appalling Isil-related attack yet?
The outpourings of politicians in the media generally as to our unpreparedness in the event of such an attack, the rolling out of "security experts" all telling us what we already know, serves only to advertise the fact we are vulnerable.
If Ireland hasn't entered into the Isil consciousness as yet, this outpouring of a delusional mindset will ensure it does.
