Let's gamble on a FG majority
THAT'S all we need, Maurice Fitzgerald (Letters, June 23), a coalition government of chalk and cheese politicians like Fianna Fail and Sinn Fein, or Labour and Sinn Fein.
Sinn Fein is essentially a Northern party, despite having a few hardly noticeable TDs in the Dail. In the present financial crisis, governing ought not to be handed to those who will only make it worse if power is also handed to the inept Left.
Aren't we in enough trouble, without having a government in which one party is terrified of the other?
