Let ISPCA microchip

• The microchipping of all dogs should be offered to the ISPCA, who could provide the service nationwide over a given time period at cost, plus a few euro contribution from each owner. Importantly, this would also allow the charity to raise some much-needed funds.

Trying to force owners into the arms of an industry that excels in overcharging for the most basic services for small animals will simply not achieve the uptake and goodwill of dog owners that is required for a successful programme.
