I was 10 years of age when Fianna Fail, having won their first election, entered government buildings. They did not trust the people who had elected them. For most of eight decades, they have misruled this land with cronyism, jobbery and favouritism.
Over the past few weeks we have seen them disappear with huge sums rather than face an election. We had hopes to see an end to their power in Ireland, so what are we now promised? We are promised more of the same as they crawl out of the woodwork. The same dynasties, the same arrogance, and their eyes shining with lust for power.
I have watched it for 80 years. Please God, let there be change.
