It's good to see that GAA still has its eye on the ball

I recentLY purchased a family ticket for the Leinster hurling final. Unfortunately, my wife and son were unable to attend due to illness.

I sent the unused tickets back to the Leinster Council and received a prompt reply with a refund enclosed.

It is refreshing to see that the country's largest sporting organisation has a mechanism in place to refund patrons who are unable -- due to unforeseen circum-stances -- to attend matches.

I Just want to tell your sports writers that the Women's World Cup final in football took place on Sunday in Frankfurt, Germany, between Japan and the USA. Japan won.

How different the coverage for the men's event last year.
