Injustice to an innocent woman

Sir -- When a 65-year-old woman, Teresa Tracy, fights to preserve the trees on her property, the full rigours of the law are applied and she ends up in jail to purge her contempt. There is something very wrong with our laws.

Is it that there is a law for the rich and a law for the poor? Or is it that there is law for the rich only and none for the poor?

OK, you might think she's 'only a crank' or perhaps 'a little soft in the head'. But for someone to go to jail to protect what she believes in shows someone of character who has strength in her beliefs.
