If the cap fits

• Having read Liam Fay's short piece in the 'Weekend Review' of February 25 regarding Philip Treacy, I felt that the lip which you supposedly shoot from should be buttoned when you don't know what you are talking about -- or is this is a typical example of begrudgery? After all, who outside of Ireland would even know who Liam Fay is?

He very obviously doesn't know Philip Treacy or anything much about him. Philip would be the last person I know to come out with a "litany of egomaniacal statements".

And I do know him since he was a very young boy. He was, and still is, the most modest, unassuming and hardworking person when it comes to his many talents in design.
