Iceland's 'bad' example silenced on RTE

Listening to the early morning news on RTE last Sunday, I heard that Iceland's parliament has charged former politicians, who were in power during their banking meltdown, with irresponsibility.

On the later news bulletins, however, there was not a word about it.

The powers that be in RTE obviously thought it would not be good if the idea were put into the heads of the plebs and peasants in Ireland, that the irresponsibility of their lords and masters might have something to do with the country being nearly bankrupt.
