I am tired of hearing the Health Service Executive (HSE) saying it is taking action to ensure that "this will never happen again".
The report of the Roscommon abuse case (Irish Independent, October 28) is just another example of closing the door after the horse has bolted.
Another in a long list of blunders on the part of the HSE.
When will it learn to take proactive rather than reactive action?
I am sure that when it comes to its own employment their contracts and terms of employment are watertight before they sign on the dotted line.
It's time they thought of others for a change.
