How the developerisaurus dinosaur became extinct -- except in Wexford

• Recently, scientists surprised the world by establishing that dinosaurs were not as large or as heavy as we thought. Their findings were replicated in Ireland through a study of extinct creatures of the Dail.

The study focused particularly on the Greater Brass-Necked Bertisaurus that roamed the political landscape for years, devouring all before it. We had been led to believe that this voracious predator was one of the most effective survivors in the Jurassic Phoenix Park.

However, it was not the heavyweight we thought, being eventually outwitted by the leaner developerisaurus that had evolved from carnivore to vegetarian, thriving on green field sites.
