Harbouring some secrets

Sir -- Your columnist Blaise Brosnan last Sunday writing about Richard Cantillon being the man who came up with the concept of entrepreneurialism was very interesting.

I remember as a youngster holidaying in Ballyheigue and rambling around the castle grounds. I don't recall a harbour ever being in Ballyheigue.

The nearest harbour would be Fenit. The beach at Ballyheigue is one of Kerry's gems and leads on to Banna Strand, both wonderfully flat sandy beaches. Perhaps Mr Brosnan could let us know where the harbour was at Ballyheigue.
