The Israeli Field Hospital in Haiti was, in a way, a miracle.
The Israeli doctors who flew to Haiti volunteered to help and are leaders in their different fields.
The cheap cynicism in some letters written to the Irish Independent as to the motivation of these private individual doctors is appalling.
To use the crisis and horrible suffering of Haitians as a platform to attack Israeli aid deserves only contempt.
