Give me patience

•I was quite dismayed to read Ian O'Doherty's piece 'We will not tolerate intolerance' (Irish Independent, November 29).

The intolerance he displayed towards the intolerance of intolerance was frankly appalling. If, as a society, we can't tolerate the intolerance of intolerance then we're no better than Hitler, who famously also didn't tolerate stuff.

Or perhaps we can just agree that what Darren Scully said was racist and stop with the "oppressed white man" shtick?
