As one who has been very critical of Dr James Reilly during his tenure as Minister for Health, I still felt very disappointed at his not being returned to office.

As a GP in Rush, several of my patients have informed me that they feel the former minister "did nothing for the people" during his tenure.

This assertion is particularly ironic when it is made by the mother or father of a child under six, or an over 70-year-old who holds a non-means-tested medical card.
