Marcus de Brun says that we should take a closer look at the FG health policy (Letters, February 4).
Their policy is to hand over the running of our health service to private companies whose only concern is to maximise their profits rather than the health of Irish citizens.
Have no doubt these foreign companies will cut corners at every opportunity in their relentless pursuit of profits.
They will view Irish patients as a source of profit rather than people who need to be cured.
In the future will it be Irish doctors and nurses that decide on the medical needs of Irish patients or will it be foreign accountants?
