FA kicking up a stink over Rooney outburst
A lot of people "saw" what Wayne Rooney did last Saturday and probably a handful heard what he said. And while I don't condone his outburst, I also don't understand the English Football Association's response.
When former rugby captain Ciaran Fitzgerald spurred his men on to victory by roaring "Where's your f***ing pride" he became a national hero. So what's the difference?
It's the same word but different outcomes.
