Dublin can learn from Killkenny

IT amazes me that while Kilkenny City Council can do a U-turn on a bad traffic planning decision in one week (Irish Independent, April 15), we were told by Dublin City Council that it would take six months to reverse the 30kph speed limit in Dublin city centre.

Perhaps Dublin City Council could be a bit quicker following the example of the German city of Freiburg which fines cyclists €100 to €200 for disobeying traffic lights and road traffic laws.
