Defence Forces are in big trouble
Sir -- Dermot Earley was the greatest loss to the Irish Defence Forces in my time; may he rest in peace. He was a great man, and as a leader there was no one greater.
I'm writing this letter to let the people of this great nation know that their Defence Forces are going down the tubes, and morale is at an all-time low.
Soldiers are used to hardship, and they're more than used to the endless bulls**t which is part of everyday life in the military. You see, in the military when they teach about leadership, the first thing they tell you is to "keep the troops informed at all times". But in our Army the 'leaders' (for want of a better word) have a better idea on how to keep the troops informed: silence.
