DAA managers have no excuse

I arrived at 8am into the Blue long-term car park (even before it started snowing) and the main road was full of snow, nearly impassable.

The 12 hours spent in Dublin Airport were unforgettable -- boarding at 5pm (after an eight-hour wait), and being stuck on the plane for 90 minutes, awaiting a de-icer and being told we were next in the queue (our flight was initially scheduled for 10.20am). We were getting quicker news from our mobile devices than from the captain.

After two-and-a-half hours in the plane, the flight was cancelled and we were 'invited' to leave, and were then stuck before security with passengers from other cancelled flights for nearly an hour. I still remember those poor families with little babies, old people with mobility difficulties, and so on.
