Cuchulainn not a fan of rugby
I don't know if Conor Geraghty of Edinburgh is Irish-born or of Irish descent (Letters, February 1), but his knowledge of Irish mythology is rather poor. Cuchulainn's game was hurling. He would be turning in his grave if he heard rugby fans chanting his name.
After all, rugby was only started in the English school of that name in the middle of the 19th century.
As a hurling fan, I say you can't have our hero!
