The answer to such "gratuitous" representation of women is for women to outdo what letter writer Jonathan Reddington calls "the commercial intelligence used in the creation" of such ads.
They can do this by voting in another woman president and voting for women candidates so that they are a majority of the Dail after the next general election.
They have the power in this democracy where the majority of voters are women. Do they have "the commercial intelligence''?
