Classic Obama double-speak
YOU report that US President Barack Obama is already planning for "his re-election campaign in 2012", while at the same time "trying to convince Washington to switch off from election mode". (Irish Independent, February 26).
This is a classic example of Obama double-speak, for which the media never calls him to account.
If his proposal for a government takeover of the healthcare system is such a good idea, and he possesses these "unmatched debating skills", why does the media not ask this key question: why is he having such a difficult time selling it to the public despite receiving almost no critical coverage from the media since assuming office?
