• Now that a decision is due on the location of the children's hospital, isn't it pathetic to see politicians make a political football out of such an important development regarding the care of sick children?
No matter which location is chosen, there will be objections, but the imperative is to provide the best care to children. There has been enough delay without politicians trying to upstage each other in debates. The fact that we can build such a facility is a credit to this nation, particularly when you look at the suffering of children in so many places in the world. It is about time that the people elected to represent us acted in a manner befitting adults and put the best interests of our children's health above party politics. There's a time for playing games in politics, but not with our children's health.
