Catholic guilt . . . Costs . . . Primates . . . Penance

ACcording to Monsignor Maurice Dooley, "Bishops were not obliged to tell gardai of abuse" (Irish Independent, March 16) because there was no statute or common law requiring them to do so.

Did any of them feel any moral obligation to the thousands of children whose lives they ruined? Shame on the Catholic Church for its continued refusal to accept the wrongs that it has perpetrated.
