Blind cheering of Israel must stop

YET again Ian O' Doherty continues his blind cheerleading of the biggest bully-boys of them all, the state of Israel, in his latest piece as chief apologist for the most brazen regime of oppression on the planet. Has he no shame in doing so?

Should he feel no sympathy for an entire country which was basically occupied in the same way Ireland was by the British 800 years ago?

The Palestinian people are forced to live in the Gaza strip under horrendous conditions without free access by land, sea or air and deprived of the necessities of life by economic restrictions imposed by Israel. Their food supply has been equated by the UN to the poorest families in sub-Saharan Africa.
