Actions, not attire, the clue to our TDs' merit

I cannot understand the Government's insistence on a dress code for TDs as a person's worth or merit is not dictated by their attire, rather their actions.

If I may suggest a uniform, should military fatigues be considered to demonstrate they are actually willing to fight to save our economy?
