A little prayer for Baby Jesus

Madam – After the terrible shooting of those innocent kids in Connecticut, and all the suicides, murders and wounding of people worldwide and indeed in Ireland, I think we should all plead with the Baby Jesus in the crib this Christmas to plead with His Father to please sort out the worldwide problem of death, hunger, diseases and poverty.

Jesus said: "Suffer little children to come unto me", but I can't see why He allows thousands of children to die of starvation daily or why He wanted 20 to be annihilated at one time as in Newtown, Connecticut. I wonder why He allows the terrible atrocities in the very countries in the Middle East where He wandered and grew up as a child.

I know a lot of the problem lies in the people themselves, and there is a lot of evil in the world, but it seems impossible that a loving and caring God would tolerate so many terrible events taking place daily. The world needs turning around and dear God you are the one to do it, so please listen to Mary and her Baby Jesus in the crib this Christmas.
