Most businesses 'not ready for GDPR' 

Less than half of Irish businesses are ready for the new European General Data Protection Regulation which comes into force in May - despite data security being a priority for 80pc of those at boardroom level. The survey of over 350 Irish businesses comes ahead of the Dublin Data Sec 2018 conference, which takes place on April 9 at Dublin's RDS and will address business concerns about the regulation which is designed to harmonise privacy laws across Europe.
