We have to act on Trump threat over US firms here
The sun still rises in the east, and the world turns, but things are going to be different under President Donald Trump.
Yesterday we got some indication of just how different. Within hours of the shock result, one of the president-elect's top advisers warned a "flood of companies" will leave Ireland under a new US tax regime.
The good news is that American politicians have for some time been looking at this; President Barack Obama expressed similar hopes, but any such legislation must first go through Congress, so we have time.
