There are no flies on Nama boss Brendan McDonagh. The low-key Kerryman deftly deflected criticism of his own agency's house-building record by shining a spotlight on the even greater failure to build by many of the funds that bought its loans.
Self serving as the criticism might be, he has a point.
According to Mr McDonagh's calculations, only a tiny fraction of the land it has sold is being turned into housing.
