Feeling queasy over IMO chief's high pay
Physician heal thyself might be good advice for George McNeice, outgoing chief executive of the Irish Medical Organisation (IMO).
Mr McNeice, a reserved and low-key Kerryman, is not a medic. But he is the driver of the largest doctor's union in the country, representing all grades from top specialists to struggling GPs and trainees.
The IMO has rebuffed many attempts over the years from its own curious rank and file members and probing journalists to divulge the chief executive's remuneration package.
