Editorial: Kenny must tread carefully on Health move
Taoiseach Enda Kenny faces an unenviable dilemma when it comes to the cabinet re-shuffle, which is expected in the second half of 2014. The most pressing problem is what to do with Health Minister Dr James Reilly.
In an interview in today's Irish Independent, Dr Reilly has emphasised that he wants to complete a full five-year term in the most contentious government department in the State.
"I believe this is the area for me to do what I can to transform the health service because I think it's critically important," Dr Reilly told our political editor yesterday.
