Critical plan to create jobs
IT is easy to criticise elements of the new seven-year national development plan outlined by the Government yesterday. By their very nature such plans are, in part, aspirational and inevitably reliant on the state of finances at any given juncture.
Considering the sort of economic climate in which this plan is unveiled we have to be realistic about what can and cannot be achieved.
Within those parameters of realism, then, the fact the Government is going to commit so much money must be seen in a positive light.
