Wouldn’t spit at Covid? Think again, because in Italy, every 15 days, high-spec, high-sensitivity saliva testing is under way in schools in targeted areas.

This non-invasive Sentinel Testing of asymptomatic pupils is part of the strategy to help protect unvaccinated children from a new virus, keep schools open safely and prevent their becoming wells of infection in the wider community.
