More than 30 years ago I did a work placement for a small publication .

I’m not sure if the experience did me much good, but it didn’t do me any harm. I had to write a few reports. The guy in charge showed me how he edited them. I got to use the then-still-novel personal computer. And I made a lot of tea and coffee.
