Tragic Milly died the day before she was due to get HSE help
A little girl's suicide may have been averted if there had been better resources, writes Louise Roseingrave
When Milly Tuomey's mother first brought her to see her GP, the child stated clearly that she had thought about suicide.
On that visit of November 10, 2015, Fiona Tuomey heard her daughter Milly (11) tell the doctor she did not like how she looked.
"She clearly stated 'sometimes I think about killing myself'," Mrs Tuomey told the inquest into her daughter's death at Dublin Coroner's Court last week.
