Tolerance and consideration from all sides is on only way America can progress as a nation

As the United States grows more racially, culturally and politically fractionalised, let’s acknowledge the obvious: Such diversity does not automatically make the US stronger, as politicians and activists sometimes proclaim, but is a major contributor to polarisation. The best hope for civil coexistence is rediscovering the lost art of tolerance.
