Time to bring out the bollards on Irish streets

Isil may have lost its radar but its supporters could have Ireland in their sights, writes Josh Molloy

As the world recoiled in horror at the scenes unfolding in Barcelona, celebrations were taking place elsewhere.

On Telegram, an encrypted messaging app popular with Isil supporters, a flurry of activity was beginning among users in the group's many channels.

"A van just ran over people in Barcelona!! Allahu Akbar!!!! They can die in their rage."
