So you think Irish millennials are liberal? Think again.

The largest study ever undertaken into the attitudes of 18 to 34-year-olds has revealed a streak of right-wing individualism with some millennials - not the progressiveness you might expect.

The vast majority (72pc) believe they have some control over their future and are the masters of their own destiny.
