WHETHER we like it or not, property markets rise and fall and twist and turn, just like the stock markets. Prices don’t keep falling forever on a downturn nor do they keep rising forever on an upswing.

But for some very odd reason, while we all expect stocks to rise and fall, we seem to expect constant stability as a standard in our property market. To the contrary, it is flux that is the norm when we’re talking about property prices.
